The Swingfix M Plus is a convenient, no-frills car seat that offers great protection for your child from 61-105cm in height and up to 20kg. Thanks to its 90° rotation, seating and harnessing your little one is quick and easy. With its ISOFIX connectors the installation is simple and safe. 

Turn to convenience
At the press of a button Swingfix M Plus can be turned towards an open car door, making it easy for you to place your child in the seat and fasten the harness. Afterwards, just turn the seat back into the rear-facing position and your journey can begin.

Extended rear-facing
Rear-facing car seats offer the best protection in the event of a frontal collision – the most frequent type of accident on the roads. In a frontal collision with a rear-facing seat the crash forces are directed to the back of the seat, while the remaining energy is spread evenly across the head, neck and upper body. With a forward-facing seat the energy of the impact is distributed differently across the seat structure and restraint system – potentially resulting in more energy impacting on the child’s body. It is recommended that children should travel rear-facing for as long as possible.

i-Size safety
The Swingfix M Plus was developed according to the new i-Size standard and is approved according to the latest R129 regulations, which are mandatory from September 2023. Thus, the seat provides reliable i-Size safety for your child.

ISOFIX with support leg and rebound bar
This car seat attaches to the ISOFIX anchorage points in your vehicle. ISOFIX is a standard system of connection points featured in most cars. This establishes a secure and firm connection between the car seat and the car. Safe installation is completed with the use of a support leg to allow optimum stability. The rebound bar helps prevent the car seat from tilting during a collision. The bar has been optimised so it is shorter and more compact to offer extra leg space - perfect for a long journey. 

5-point safety harness
Britax believe a 5-point harness is the safest way to secure your child in their car seat because it keeps your child safe and tight in the seat’s protective shell. In the event of a collision, the harness distributes the forces of the impact across 5 points, two at the shoulders, two at the hips and one where the harness buckles between the legs. This helps to protect your child from all directions of impact. 

Removable washable cover
Things can get messy in the car – drinks spill and children can get travel sick. That is why Britax designed a machine washable seat cover that's easy to remove, so you can clean up quickly and get back to enjoying your adventures together.
